During my college internship at Studio ST, one of the projects that I worked on was, developing a set of print surfaces for wallpapers, inspired by Mughal miniature paintings. I started out with carefully observing and understanding the drawing and the painting style, the elements, narratives and style pf composition used in these paintings.
Inspiration Board
After grasping the style of the painting, I started sketching surfaces based on the same. Once line drawings were done I did the colour distribution of the surfaces and made colour ways of the surfaces.
