                                               CHARACTER
                                                      DESIGN

For this project we were given certain characteristics of a character which we had to follow those:
Character: Don / Gang Leader
Characteristics: Brave, Angry, Arrogant, Scary, Dominant, Irritated, Clumsy

So, I choose the key points for my character from the given rules and came up with a story and this character.
"MY CHARACTER ELEMENTS"
 Character: Don / Gang Leader

 Characteristics: Brave, Angry, Dominant, Clumsy
 Style: Cartoonic
Appearance: Animation, Cartoon, Game, Graphic Design
 Target Audience: 12-24

                                         "MY STORY SUMMARY"

Once there lived a boy named john. As he belonged from a low profile area, his family couldn't afford his studies as well as food for the family. He left his home when he was 15 and worked on his dream. john was always fascinated by moterbike. His love for moterbike made him fall in bad hands. He worked for many people but always dream of his own empire/gang.

He did achieve what he had always wished for and that is moterbike and his underground empire. Later, he started smuggling parts of the moterbike from abroad and assembled it in his country. This helped him fight against his poverty. He has escaped many times from the police which could have caused him a great debt/loss.

So, after reading the summary, you might have an idea about the character .
Now, i will let you know about the character in the further slides...

1. MOOD BOARD - It is a collection of images from where I got the idea of developing this character.
2. CONCEPT SKETCH - I have done a concept sketch of the character after combining all the ideas from the Mood Board.
3. TURNAROUNDS - I further proceed in creating turnarounds. Creating turnarounds helped me understand more about the character.
4. EXPRESSIONS - Like turnarounds, expressions is also important to understand the character. As the character is made it will have expressions and movements as well.
                         LEARNING, CHALLENGES AND OUTCOME -
1. I got to learn a lot and its not the end I need to learn a lot about character                  designing.
2. I need improved my drawing skills as well.
3. It was difficult in the beginning to understand character design but then I                     realised it wasn't as complicated as I was thinking.
4. I am happy with the character that I have created.

                                                    - THANK YOU -
