The Global Diaspora Confederation
The Global Diaspora Confederation is a non-profit organization that aspires to be a network that supports the efforts of all diaspora organizations and ultimately empower all communities. Since 2020, the GDC have committed to unifying organizations by collaborating with like-minded societies.
I was asked to design a brochure for the GDC in preparation for the first Global Diaspora Week. This involved designing all visuals, typography, page layouts and editing content. The brochure was designed with the anticipation of it being viewed digitally.
Design Direction
I chose to keep the brochure design minimal by using one typeface and simple column layouts as it will be comfortable to read on digital screens. The blue colour accents throughout the brochure reflect GDC's logo and highlight major sections and headings. Key phrases and questions such as, "Will you join us to build this together?" are emphasized in the same blue colour to expand on the viewer's journey with GDC.
