The Project: Develop an app to help people to find a child-friendly café.

The Problem: As a mother of two, it is always challenging for me to find places that are child-friendly and allow me to take a break at the same time. There are so many apps out there to keep track of pregnancy stages and baby development, but not one to fulfill both the children's and the parents' need.

My role: I created the brand identity for KICA including the UI kit and built the app prototype using Sketch. I did user research on current child-friendly cafés business listing on a various platforms to learn about the top features and the latest trend.

Deliverables:
- Brand Identity and UI kit for KICA
- A high-fidelity prototype of the app

Tools:
Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator

Search result screen
After the end-users register an account at KICA, they can enter the area they want the app to cover and the appropriate age group of their children. The app will display the list of child-friendly cafés near them. The heart icon will appear on the map of the best search result.
Detail screen
When the end-user click on the café from the search result screen, a general overview of the café will display. The detail screen includes which age group of children this café is suitable for, reviews, photos, a short intro, a list of services, and a reservation button. It is simple and straightforward. For most parents, when it comes to café search, they will look for child-friendly set-up on things like food, baby room, play area, and private party. By displaying those key services will help the end-user to save time and energy for doing any further research.
