Creating Photos That Almost Don't Exist

Los Angeles in October 1990, a trade show booth.
Booth owner was lecturing, and so I decided to wait for him to come back.
From a distance, I saw a genuine cowboy with his hat, jeans, leather coat, and boots.

...this was not the Gary Young that everyone knows today but a younger Gary... taller and thinner man than me, with a sincere and compassionate expression and a very engaging, big smile and affable personality.

Excerpt from the work in progress:
"D. Gary Young and Jean-Noël Landel Our Lavender Roots"

Create that image.
Resources:
1. An image of Gary from about the 1980s early 90s.
2. An image of trade booth from early 90s.
Quick hack together:
Notes "Fantastic!! But, I really want him in suit coat though, can we do that?"

Resource, pictures from 2004:
Digital scrap paper doll time:
Now to refine image...

2/8/22 Note:
"I feel like the color is making this photo unbelievable. There are a lot of pinks and magentas,... Gary's suit coat is strait up pink. I've done a bit of treatment on this, including adding quite a bit of noise..."
3/2/22 Note: "You'll laugh... no hat, but keep the coat, that's great!"
