VEGGIES // graphics for packaging

Veggies

Brand Identity + packaging concepts for the launch of a new product in the UK.

This product is called "Veggies" crisps, a snack, made of mixed vegetables,
tasty but at the same time healthier than average alternatives.
Ideally competing with brands such as Tyrrell's, Kettle, Boxerchips,
this product aims to reach a medium-high class target.

I was asked to design a rectangular label and a circular lid-cover,
while the actual packaging would be a cylindrical transparent plastic pack,
to allow consumers see the product therefore enhancing its 'natural feel'.
I was asked to design options in 3 categories ( +1 version each for children)

1 • Bio Classy
2 • Nature Retro
3 • Playful Funny

Convey the idea of the class of products: bio but also ‘classy’.
To do that, I chose to use cardboard texture and black the ‘Marks & Spencer’ way.
Then I tried a more modern and more neat style.
Natural products are a bit vintage: it gives it a bio feel, and an idea of quality.
Characters added to the packaging. The grown-ups' and kids' versions may coincide.
Concepts were presented to the university commission and awarded with the higher marks.
