For this project, we were required to use only recycled materials. This garment is constructed out of
seat belts and plastic webbing from the Rhode Island Recycle Center. I chose a material that would
lend itself to being sculpted. I used a torch to burn the seat belts, to create the rounded forms and
wove the webbing together.
