تيد (بالإنجليزية: TED) هي اختصار للتكنولوجيا والترفيه والتصميم
(Technology Entertainment and Design) وهي سلسلة من المؤتمرات العالمية التي وشعارها "أفكار تستحق الانتشار"، منذ عام 2006 توفرت مؤتمرات TED للمشاهدة المجانية على الإنترنت برخصة التشارك، وفي يونيو 2010 وصل عدد مشاهدي TED إلى أكثر من 290 مليون مشاهد.

Depuis 25 ans, la conférence américaine TED rassemble des esprits brillants dans leur domaine pour partager leurs idées avec le monde. C’est un événement annuel où les plus grands talents internationaux sont invités à partager leurs passions.
«TED» («Technology, Entertainment, Design») s’intéresse à trois grands domaines, qui, ensemble, façonnent notre avenir.
Mais l’événement ne s’arrête pas là et présente des idées quelles que soient les disciplines.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
