Background
The purpose of the Three Mandalas project was to learn to use color to evoke emotion and create a compelling piece of artwork. The concept of using color and different color schemes is a common design concept and is used in many, if not all, design projects to help the viewers feel or understand what the piece is trying to communicate. Throughout the mandalas project, the goal was to learn these concepts and apply them to he mandalas.
Triad
Process
For the Three Mandalas Project, I used Adobe Photoshop to add color to a mandala template using three different color theories. The theories I used were monochromatic, triad, and split complimentary. Using these color schemes and the paint bucket tool in Photoshop, I filled in the mandalas to create a visually appealing  piece of artwork.
