This my Mandalas Project. In this project I was asked to show my understanding of the color wheel. The Mandala to the far left is my example of Complementary colors. I used different shades of blue and yellow to show my understanding of Complementary colors. The Mandala in the middle shows my knowledge of Triad colors. I decided to use colors I haven't really used before so I could mess around with them a little bit. I opted in for white outlines for my Triad Mandala because I wanted my Mandala to be a little more free. My last Mandala, far right, shows my understanding of Monochromatic colors. I used a range of blues to capture this concept. I wanted an icy feeling which is why I focused on making my lines with different shades of blue instead of the traditional black or white outlines. I would say if any of these Mandalas were to capture my style it would have to be my Monochromatic Mandala. Although I am more of a minimalist designer I wanted to share this project I was given to show my understanding of colors through a fun coloring activity.
