KOK(EN) is a communal social project located in Ayvansaray, Istanbul Walls which protected people of Byzantine and Ottoman Empires, developed identity to cultural, agricultural, trade activities through its logistic context on silk road. KOK(EN) Proposal aimed to bring users together from different financial and social groups under the aim of both physical and experimental production. Project examines the dynamics of social, urban and physical sustainability in order to form the idea of sustainable future center concept. KOK(EN) is an adaptable concept that is applied onto two variations of context in this proposal.
