Introduction: This is a task that is given to us by our professor. The main goal of this project is to create a Hawaiian shirt, make a pattern, and put it on the shirt as the new design.
Media: I used for this project is Adobe Illustrator
Work Process:
First step that I did is to trace the Hawaiian shirt template given to us and divide it into different sections using the pen tool.
The second step that I did is to create a design pattern for the Hawaiian shirt.
The third step is to design and create a Hawaiian shirt company tag
The fourth step is to design my button for my shirt using shape builder tool.
The fifth step is to trace the whole shirt, this time its filled with the color that I picked which is dark indigo. I choose this because I think this is a good contrast for the bright color of the sunflower.
The sixth step I did is to convert my design into a pattern
Final Work:
Conclusion: This project has been beneficial to me because I was able to build my own brand and shirt as a result of it. It also helped me understand some of the tools in Adobe Illustrator, which I didn't know about before I started this project.
