Using Adobe Illustrator, I created three mandalas based on three different color theories. Adobe Color made it fairly easy to construct these color combinations and experiment with tints, shades, and tones. Monochromatic, split complementary, and triad were the three schemes that I was required to represent. I carefully selected and paired the mandala design with the different color schemes to ensure that they would be visually appealing and evoke emotion. Using the live paint bucket tool, I recolored the mandalas to create these three distinct pieces.
