Description:

My idea for Utopia landscapes is to show how most towns used to be fields with hardly any buildings around its years ago. I added more vibrance and saturation to empathize more colors and to show how beautiful and peaceful each of the image's look. Although there is a building on a third image of Utopia, it does not distract nor interrupt the land itself. In fact, we can still see the land, and the hills/fields still look natural.

For my Dystopia landscapes, my idea was to show how most buildings are being built out of nowhere especially in recent years. Specifically, I only made buildings to be in colors while the background (the land) is in black and white because I feel like we are not paying attention to it as much. It seems as if people care more about technology, economy, and even homes too than hills and lands. But, do I think that having all kinds of buildings to be completely a bad thing? No, it is not necessarily all bad by any means because we do need more jobs and homes due to increase of population. However, I do think, in at least 50 years in the future, that the buildings will be taking over more lands. And soon, the next couple of generations might missed out on seeing the beauty of nature based on how it used to be.
Images below shown are pictures which were taken before it was manipulated with filters such as saturation, vibrance, brightness and contrasts in Photoshop.
