Social Messaging Photoshop Project

It's difficult, but worth it

That’s the central message of this piece I made for my Social Messaging project back in my Digital Painting and Illustration class back at Clark College. It was a project where we were challenged to create a simple message based on our experiences during the COVID-19 Pandemic and interpret it through the photoshopping of images. In this case, I formed this message and the project around the theme of love and connections being arduous to form and maintain amidst these troubling times, but also that it’s ultimately worth it despite all of that. The imagery and effects were designed to evoke a feeling of uncertainty and dread, but also with a glimmer of hope amidst the haze.
