SYSTEM DESIGN : WAYFINDING FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE
Empathise:
Visually impaired people face many hardships in this society but they have great sensory perception.
They may be disabled but one or the other senses of theirs is so good that can make them to do tasks on their own.
Here I'm trying to use those senses for a Way-finding project in public places
Problem:
Most of the public places don't have a clear system of signages to help the visually impaired people move about independently
Ideation:
Using their top sensory perceptions to create a Way-finding system for different public places such as smell, touch etc
There is a lot of scope to improve this LIVE project now.
