Safe Space is an app that helps and support those who have been victims of rape, assult and domestic. violence. The design of the app is simple and clean so it is user friendly and not overwhelming due to the sensitive nature of the app. The color scheme is primarily shades of blue, evoking  trust and honesty which is imperative due to the sensitive and delicate topics the app deals with. Users are in a vulnerable state and need to be reassured it is a safe place, or app to use. A pinkish red accentict color is used for the logo, heading and icons. The type used for headings and body copy is Avenir, which is readable sans serif typeface and for the logo a rounded, more bubble-type sans serif typeface is used to invoke softness.
