Sketches
These are the ideation sketches with the file idea on the left. The only requirements for this project was to incorporate the use of a drill press.
Foam Model
We started off with a foam model to see how sturdy the handle would be and if it felt comfortable in your hand. With this first prototype, the hole in the handle was too large which made the handle too wide and felt a little awkward while holding.
Final model
The side by side of the foam prototype and the final model shows the difference in hole size in the handle.
