Since 2020 many digital processes have been accelerating due to the pandemic, the internet has made us global citizens and digital nomads, we enjoy the privilege of moving freely around the world and work with a wide range of tools offered by technology and the facilities of modern life.

Many projects and business ideas were born in the midst of lockdown, and this was one of them. Nómada is an only-delivery taqueria based in Cartagena, Colombia, with prices and toppings according to the size of an ideal taco. The confluence of contemporary nomads around tacos.  🌮
The proposal had to be quick, spontaneous and adjustable (just like nomad life), so I opted for a grid based on hexagonal shapes to create a custom type and a graphic system that tries to emulate the simplicity of cave paintings made by the first nomadic communities. The pattern of this grid is very intuitive and easy to replicate, allowing any user to manipulate the puzzle, interact directly with the brand and communicate stuff through multiple choices.

In addition, these hexagonal shapes are architecturally friendly, they can be tiles and facilitate many alternatives when creating future physical spaces without moving away from the visual universe of the brand. That is the reason why the main references lead to Diego Rivera and the Mexican muralism movement.




THIS BRAND IS ESSENTIALLY RUSTIC, SO ITS APPLICATIONS ARE LIMITED TO ACCESSIBLE TOOLS AND RAW MATERIALS.​​​​​​​
