For this first project in Studio Photography, we were challenged to try different lighting combos on an object. I chose to use my favorite pair of boots, my cowboy hat and my bridle that I use on my horse. The bridle is beaded, and the boots have quite a nice patina on them from everyday wear so I felt with the solid brown background (first photo) and brown mottled background (last two photos) and plywood tabletop, it would be best to light with a soft box at about a 45* angle, and the first was a lower set with the soft box, and the last two were with the soft box at a higher angle with a more raking light.
