Illusions of the Waiting Room

“Illusions of the Waiting Room” is publication-centred experience. It comprises a recorded Album of spoken-out poems and a trailer as an introduction for the audience. It began as a collection of photographic material from six experiments, fueled by an investigation of time perception through the process of deconstructing photography’s conventional relationship to time. Finally, the Holga camera emerged as the preferred medium. The final result, influenced by the preceding five experiments, embodies various manifestations of time such as event time, clock time, and long exposure time, all translated into Holga’s particular visual language.
