QUEENS: un barrio con sabor a México, is an independent film documentary that portrays the cultural resistance of the Mexican community residing in Queens, New York. Through the lives of the characters, life stories are told of immigrants who have maintained their language, customs and traditions in the United States of America. In this project, the photographic and cinematographic direction of the documentary was carried out in its entirety. It is a debut as a film director and photographer. The project began in January 2021. From August to September, the filming was carried out on the island of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens (New York). The premiere of this film will be announced for 2022.
QUEENS: un barrio con sabor a México, es un documental independiente que retrata la resistencia cultural de la comunidad mexicana residente en Queens, Nueva York. A través de las vidas de los personajes, se narran historias de inmigrantes que han mantenido su lengua, sus costumbres y tradiciones en Estados Unidos de América. En este proyecto se realizó la dirección fotográfica y cinematográfica del documental en su totalidad. Es una opera prima como director y fotógrafo documental. El proyecto se comenzó en enero del 2021. De agosto al mes de septiembre, se llevo a cabo el rodaje del mismo en la Isla de Mahattan, Brooklyn y Queens (Nueva York). El estreno de esta película se anunciara para 2022.
