Illustration Mural Exam
For this assignment we had to make a mural on one of the three given walls by our "Client" I chose the wall on Jazz bar in Eindhoven. Immediately I wanted to choose this bar because of the musical part of it.
On their website they wrote that the music, the food and the drinks contribute a huge part of the ambiance they strive to have. Hence why I chose to mix music and cocktail parts for my illustration.

For both of these which had the realism part of it, I specifically chose to do realism because that is one of my strong points. I enjoy drawing in this style but to change it up I added some cartoon parts to it. The bottom of the trumpet has been "dipped" in the fluids making it cartoonish and also the ice cubes and mint leaves.
Sketches
I think this is one of my favorite illustration I've made till now. I got to use one of my strengths which is realism and it was really fun to add a little bit of cartoon to the drawing as well to switch it up.
