Apex is a monthly publication for top caliber rock climbers. The design is inspired by the movement of climbing and the dynamic nature of the sport. This publication was built on a very fluid grid that would allow columns to move up and down within the space to simulate the act of climbing a mountain. The gutters are relatively narrow to reference the slight tension and nerves that climbers would have when grabbing small crevices in the rocks.
