From the independence of Malaysia till now, food has become a key element that brings us together as Malaysians. In Malaysia, there is no separation as Chinese, Malay or Indian food, ONLY Malaysian food. We Malaysian really adore our own multicultural society and the happiness that food brings us in this country. In my artwork, different types of Malaysian food that are illustrations are all in a round or circle shape, which also gives the meaning that we are one, and we are the same as each other –Malaysians. It all gives the meaning that although we look different on the outside, but the shapes, by means the inner heart of us are still a whole as Malaysians. In the middle, I added a Malaysian flag to represent the inner proudness to be a Malaysian, and the typo designed is to round up the whole poster “THE MALAYSIAN CULTURE” to make it more professional.
