ART APPROPRIATION
This project is my personal take on the concept of art appropriation. We were tasked to create a new art work based on existing and well-known ones. This project was a required task for a major subject, Illustration and Cartooning.
The original painting that the artwork was based on was Leonardo da Vinci's "Lady with an Ermine". The new artwork is based off of Misty and Togepi, two recognizable characters in the Japanese famous media franchise Pokémon.
