Oslo opera house - The Iceberg

The Oslo Opera House

The opera house of Olso is definitely one of the most impressive buildings I've ever visited. This impressive structure appears to be rising from the water like an iceberg with its complex angles and bright, white materials. The asymmetric architecture invites visitors to climb to the top of the roof and enjoy the incredible view of Oslo and the fjords.

Next to the building, floating in the water, you can see a glass sculpture created by the artist Monica Bonvicini. The sculpture floats on a concrete platform, responding to the tides and wind and depending on the light, takes on different colors or becomes transparent. The meaning of the title 'she lies' is left up to interpretation of the audience.

Thank you for watching!
