During this class, we're given a task which is to create the packaging for seasonal food. At first, we're asked to do some research about what is seasonal food and the festival related. After the research, we are going to decide our topic and start the project.
The festival I chose for my project is Dussehra. It is a Hindu festival that celebrated at the end of Navaratri every year ( Navaratri is a 9 days celebration festival, while Dussehra is the tenth day ). The purpose of the festival is to celebrate the victory of good over evil, light over darkness.
What is the history about Dussehra? Actually, there are some different versions of background story that told about Dussehra. I designed my packaging according to one of the story, which is the story about Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana (10-headed demon king ).
