Cuckoo birds always lay their eggs in the nests of other birds, expecting for other birds to become parents. But when the cuckoo hatches, it throws the other eggs in the nest and leaves. The Cuckoo's offspring never belonged to the nest where they were born, somehow infiltrated that nest. Mc Murphy and Bromden are two wise guys who pretend to be lunatics; just like Cuckoo birds leaking into another nest. And as Bromden regains his freedom, the Cuckoo throws the other egg out of the nest.
