Camins
Co-design project with Down Syndrome dance pupils
2021

Co-design project in collaboration with Centro Caterina, an inclusive dance center based in Valencia, Spain. Camins is a co-design product developed with the help of Down Syndrome dance pupils from Centro Caterina.

This product has been designed to be used during inclusive dance classes. Its use facilitates the understanding of concepts such as individual and collective space within the field of dance. In addition, it favors decision-making and improves the perception of one's own body and its movement.

Camins is composed of a set of bases and ropes of different colors and patterns. Each rope indicates the path that each dancer must follow. And the bases are used to control and set up the paths to increase or reduce complexity to the game. The objective is that dancers must complete their path without interrupting the trajectory of other dancers. In this way, dancers proactively understand the importance of individual and collective space.
