Repair & Upcycle Concertina
The concertina is an accordion-like instrument played with bellows air and reeds of Sheng origin, invented by British physicist Sir Charles Wheatstone in 1828.
These concertinas were sold under the HOHNER brand around 2010.
I repaired those concertina because the bellows gusset was made of synthetic leather, which caused holes and air leaks due to aging.
In the valley of the bellows, "Bellows Paper" was decorated with Japanese paper with a pattern, "Chiyogami" or "Liberty Print" cloth.
