The creation of Adam by God and later his wife Eve completed the creation of the world. Adam and Eve were conceived by God as perfect beings and settled in Eden to multiply and create mankind. For violating God’s prohibition not to eat the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, they were expelled from Eden. Tasting the fruit became the original sin passed on to the descendants of Adam and Eve.
