Camp Obama - Haiti

Photography
One of the poorest countries in the world, Haiti has recently faced the worst earthquake in the region in more than 200 years, a devastating hurricane and an outbreak of Cholera.
Nearly a year and a half after the earthquake much of of the rubble still remains and nearly a million displaced people still live under tents and tarpaulins.
These photographs focus on Haiti today, its people and throws light onto some of the conditions they are living in.

The majority of images are from the earthquake stricken Port au Prince and the North Western town of Gonaives where Hurricane Tomas caused widespread flooding in November 2010. Much of the rainwater still remains.
