The work is called Awaiting and I guess it speaks for itself.
The figure of an elderly woman, expecting someone at the fence, is rather archetypical. This is how women awaited for their husbands to return from war.. Or how elderly mothers and grandmothers in villages await their grown children and grandkids to come for holidays... Or maybe this woman is just waiting for better life, that will never come.. This is why so much longing in her eyes.
