3D Printed Gum Blossom
The ‘Gum Blossom’ Series of jewelry is a hybrid creation of Virtual Reality sketching ‘3d components’ that are computationally arranged around a control curve. The resultant arraigned data is meshed ‘isosurfaced’ via customised script for each blossom vain. The isosurface is 3d printed via Formlabs 2 resin where a hand-dyed method is applied creating a jewel-coloured transparency effect.
