Design / Aveiro University (2013)

 

 

 

 

XS is a one-day event organized in 2013, for the second consecutive year, by the Design Students Core of Aveiro University.

We invited the students to stay in Aveiro over the weekend and take part in some activities that we had planned for them. In the morning there was an illustration workshop and a do-it-yourself of photography. In the afternoon open talks with a group of selected young designers that are having their breakthrough in Portugal.

Under the motto "Take it to the next level" - a way to motivate students to improve their skills and their knowledge about design by sharing this experience and getting to know the work of these talented young designers - we created an identity for the event and also a decoration for the space where it took place - our own classrooms - based on the idea of not settling for just a simple paper plane, but instead doing a more intricate and challenging one (an F15), in origami.
