I made this short while in quarantine. I got inspired to make the film based on a Karl Marx quote from "The Economic & Philosophic Manuscripts of 1844." The film depicts an "In Medias Res" tale of a troublesome young man, Jeremy, who has entered a bet: to stay in a locked room for an unknown amount of time to receive a hefty sum of money. Jeremy does so, only to realize that the bargain carries more costs than returns. I shot this on my Android over the course of two months. I think that there are some things that I could have reworked. One issue is the audio (including room tone). I edited the film on Adobe Premiere. I hope you enjoy it!
