My 7 Creations With 7 Creative Strategies

My 7 Creations Using 7 Creative Strategies
For my Graphic Design class at BYU-Idaho, my assignment was to use the 7 creative strategies to come up with my own creations using images that I either found online or photographed myself. I found a lot of great things online and worked hard to create some images that I was able to be satisfied with.
Combinations
For the creative strategy of using combinations, I decided to combine an hourglass with with the wings of a bird to make it look like it was flying it and titled it, "Time Really Does Fly."
Juxtaposition
With juxtaposition, two objects that don't have anything to do with each other are put together to make it look as if they are one object. I combined the top half of an hourglass with a diffuser and titled it, "Time Can Seem to Diffuse Into Thin Air."
Isolation
Images that show isolation are either away from anything else or stand out from their surroundings. I titles this image "Time to Stand Out From the Crowd."
Metaphor
When I look at an hourglass, it is always filled with something that looks like sand, even thought maybe sometimes it's just salt or sugar. I liked the idea of putting someone walking through a dessert into the hourglass to make it look as if they are one and titled this "Walking Through the Sands of Time."
Change of Environment
I can't count home many times I wished that I had more time. I thought of a fisherman trying to catch food, and thought it would be incredible if we could somehow catch more time. I put together this image to look as if the fisherman is trying to catch some time and titled it "Fishing for Lost Time."
Physical Shape Similarity
We have all heard of the sought after "hourglass" figure that many women desire. I decided to make this dream more of a reality and titled this "Creating the Perfect Hourglass Figure."
Material Change/Swap
I loved the idea of replacing a weight with an hourglass and was able to find the perfect photo to make the swap. This new image was titled "Things Will Work Out in Time."
