FANZINE FROM MĆXICO
@colectivohekate invited me to be part of the second number of a fanzine in Mexico called "Sherezeda sings: Women, music and writing" that promotes art and culture. š„ This fanzine is focused on rock music created and performed by women and how it helps us survive the turbulent years of adolescence. This is my contribution in a comic art style. (In the fourth photo you can see the complete illustration) š» It's called ** 2005 ** I based my illustration on my own personal experience, listening to the great female rock influences such as Alanis Morissette, Blondie, Joan Jett, etc. Music really moves me and has always been with me in every stage of my life. āØ It is an honor to be part of this beautiful project that seeks to raise awareness of great artists and inspire many more. ElĀ @colectivohekateĀ me invitĆ³ a formar parte del segundo nĆŗmero de un fanzine en MĆ©xico llamado "Sherezeda canta: Mujeres, mĆŗsica y escritura" que promueve arte y cultura. š„ Este fanzineĀ estĆ” enfocado en la mĆŗsica rock creada e interpretada por mujeresĀ y como esta nos ayuda a sobrevivir a los turbulentos aƱos de la adolescencia. Esta es mi contribuciĆ³n hecha comic. (En la cuarta foto puedes ver la ilustraciĆ³n completa) š» Se llama **2005** BasĆ© mi ilustraciĆ³n en mi propia experiencia personal, escuchando a las grandes influencias del rock femenino como Alanis Morissette, Blondie, Joan Jett, etc. La mĆŗsica mueve fibras en mĆ y me ha acompaƱado desde siempre. āØ Es un honor ser parte de este proyecto tan bonito que busca dar a conocer a grandes artistas eĀ inspirar a muchas mĆ”s.
