Typographic Posters, 2021
I created a pair of typographic posters based on Robert Slimbach's Minion and Mark Simonson's Proxima Nova. To do this, I used pieces of letters from both typefaces that had rounded curves as decorative elements and kept the color scheme monochromatic with one accent color each.
Minion's accent color is a neon green based on the fact that it was a serif font developed for the digital age. Proxima Nova's accent color is an orange-red because the earliest version of the typeface was first used on the cassette cover for a Star Wars radio drama.
