Project Description: 
A tragic breakup plunges a young man into the depths of a severe depression. His hopelessness engulfs him as he slowly sinks into the silent abyss of his fragile mind.

Project Challenge:
Use the Panasonic HMC40 to produce, shoot and edit a 0:30 - 1:00 video about emotion and color. Think dream sequences, flashbacks and tv commercials. Hone your video aquisition skills using manual camera controls on the HMC40 (Shutter, Aperture, Zoom, Focus, White Balance). Use editing to tell a compelling narrative in short period of time. Footage must be shot with a Panasonic HMC40 in full manual. Your project must have sound (of some kind) and must be caputured using external mics. Use the xlr break-out box on the HMC40 or a Zoom H4n. Once the raw footage is captured, edit using Pr.

Project Process: 
First, I brainstormed how to express the emotion of depression. I then filmed the scenes and experimented with using water and food coloring as an effect. I then edited the footage in Adobe Premiere.

Project Role:
I recorded all of the footage, edited it, and recorded the audio for the water droplets.
