Athletics South Africa Corporate Identity

The ASA constitutes the governing body of organised athletics in South Africa. It is the standard bearer of South African sport. The organisation carries the responsibility of facilitating the various track and field meets that are held throughout the year. Many of the better-known marathon races like the Comrades marathon falls under their jurisdiction. In addition, some responsibility for the development of athletics in rural areas and schools also rests on their shoulders. It was felt that the existing corporate identity did not live up to the demands of a progressive and modern institution and should therefore undergo a face-lift. The updated corporate signature should reflect the characteristics of the entity more accurately.
