For the first time in the global visual art scene, mold (fungus) is used as a painting technique to produce original contemporary artworks.

I have created multiple artworks on different surfaces ( wood, wall, canvas), which are painted by mold. With a firs initial indirect intervention by the artist, the mold colonies then produce the final visual appearance of the artwork. The technique used to create these works is original, completely unconventional and entirely opposite to the traditional painterly techniques. The goal was to defy the tradition creating works in conditions contrary to the conditions required for the preventive conservation of the artistic artifacts.

These works are presented in the in the exhibition “ Stale Art, Hibernation”, in the CIC gallery, Skopje, Macedonia.
