Interactive Display : Sound sensitive Generative Art

An exuberating experience was created for the visitors on an occasion of the 33rd Convocation ( 2012) organised at National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.  The Project was initiated by one of the seniors students- Akshan Ish under the guidance of Communication Design Co-ordinator Mr. Rupesh Vyas.

Concept:
Creation and projection of Integrating and Differentiating patterns on the floor, inturn on the people walking around in an open space. The noise generated by the crowd was used as an instantaneous input and an algorithm was created to disorient the generated art patterns in a similar fashion.
The program was built in symplified syntax based on Java language in an Integrated Developement environment - 'Processing' (Version 1.5.1)

We worked as a team of three, with Akshan Ish (Graphic Design) and Pratheek Irvathur (Graphic Design).
