I Choose To Live Music Video
Above is my first ever music video. The project was made for my Final Major Project in my first year of my 'Creative Media Level 3' college course. I made a music video for the song 'I choose to live' by the band 'Creeper'. I chose this song as it is very story heavy and is something I felt I could make a decent music video for. When making the music video I looked at what shots would fit the vibe of the song, and how I could portray the story in a way people could easily understand. My biggest regret with this project would be how the mouth movements aren't perfectly synced with the music. This lowers the quality of the video by quite a lot. Another issue that I, and a few others have is that I didn't include a title card, to let people know that the song isn't made by me, and to give the original artists the credit they deserve.

Production Process
When producing my video, I started with 'Context and planning' where I gave an explanation about the idea of my project and where the inspiration came from. I also included multiple pieces of pre-production planning. After the context section, I did some research on music videos as a whole. I looked at multiple official music videos and took some inspiration from them when making my final piece. I also included an interview with one of my friends who had done music technology as a course and had some experience with music videos. Next, we moved on to creating the actual project. I used the planning from my context section and made some minor changes that I got from the research section, and I went out to record my final piece. Finally, I evaluated my work as a whole. I wrote about what I liked about my project and things that I thought could be improved on. I also got two peer evaluations from some of my friends. I will think carefully about my mistakes from this project when I start my next one.
