Custom painting of Rihanna. Practice for shading, coloring, and texture of various materials and surfaces. Mainly practice in having subjects look realistic and taking an image of subject and altering it.

This digital painting took about 11 hours, with most of the time used to detail the subject's face and rose detail on clothing. I found it particularly difficult to recreate the sheer texture of the clothing and to give the cake a more realistic feel.
