Madureira's youkai
Madureira is a popular neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro.
In this piece I used Brazilian street art atmosphere as inspiration. For the monster I mixed the idea of youkais with a spooky bird we have here in Brazil: the Nyctibius Griseus, named here as "mother of the moon".
