Here is one of the projects I am very very proud of, the Situational Lessons Book from Mentor Language Institute (MLI - Los Angeles, CA). 🤩 When Mr. Sean came to me with this project I won’t lie, at first I got scared. I had worked with many prints specially magazines before but I have never done a lesson book, in ENGLISH! 😱 Can you imagine what is that for a non-native speaker? That’s like, woooow. 💁🏻♀️
I still remember when I got to LA with a very poor english (which I thought it was amazing by the way 😅) and two and half years later, there I was designign a book to teach beginners. This project was my understanding about how teachers think when sending a message versus what a student want when receiving a message (and a lot of InDesign skills, of course).
The whole project was tough, very challenging and the deadline? Short, of course. But me and Mr. Ken Estep had a great and fun journey creating and reviewing the entire book. 😍Editions 1 and 2 dears! 😎
That is that kind of project that when you get it done you just go “Damn, I made it!” 💪🏻
