This design challenge was to modernise the font Times New Roman as a centerpiece for a book targeted to young typographers so that they can learn about a life before Helvetica. 

I chose colours that drew the eye to the cover and also created some typeforms from Times New Roman to create a balanced yet interesting design.

I loved that this was challenging and brought new life to a font long forgotten by the youth of today but was the go-to for the older generation and newspapers worldwide.
