‘Punctuate’ is a bold, humorous promotion of the need for punctuation, and is a response to a 21st century text speak world with an ever-increasing, widespread disregard for the correct use of spelling and punctuation. The project was inspired by viewing the phrase ‘Let’s Eat Grandma’ on the Internet.
Further bizarre, funny and outlandish statements, with the same tone and humour as the original, startle the viewer and grab their attention. The phrases provide memorable examples of poor punctuation, and will hopefully make the viewer think twice next time they’re constructing a sentence; whether they are inadvertently killing their grandma.
